23 Apr Jüstrich Cosmetics is producing urgently needed hand sanitiser
For the past few weeks Jüstrich Cosmetics AG has been producing large quantities of hand sanitiser. Some 150 tonnes so far. The ability to rapidly implement ideas, a willingness to take decisions and a flexible way of thinking – these are all qualities that in times of crisis play an important role in realising new opportunities successfully.
The Coronavirus is posing a range of challenges to people all around the world. One of the greatest has turned out to be a lack of hand sanitiser. A product crucial for people’s survival in hospitals, medical practices, care homes and also in their private lives. The Swiss contract manufacturer for speciality cosmetics has reacted swiftly and with great decisiveness to combat this shortage.
Flexibility makes possible the rapid implementation of ideas
The state-of-the-art production facility in Berneck is perfectly equipped to cope with flexible demands. The hand sanitiser manufactured here uses ethanol as its base. It is available as either a gel or a spray and works rapidly against viruses (including Coronaviruses), bacteria, fungal infections and MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus). The addition of nourishing substances and essential oils with anti-viral properties keeps the skin supple and soft and gives it a pleasant aroma.
Private label hand sanitiser
As a contract manufacturer, Jüstrich Cosmetics produces hand sanitiser for a number of companies as a private label product. This “Made in Switzerland” hand sanitiser is filled in a variety of containers, ranging from a practical 75ml size up to 1000ml.
Taking true responsibility
Even though there is currently a shortage of alcohol and containers in Switzerland, Jüstrich has been able to make a significant contribution to combatting the crisis. And this is not all: Jüstrich is donating a percentage of the proceeds to “Winterhilfe Berneck”, a charity that provides support for people in Switzerland affected by poverty.
